Junior System Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first line of support for internal and external users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Perform remote troubleshooting using diagnostic tools and targeted questioning to identify and resolve issues.
• Determine the best solution based on the nature of the problem and the information provided.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and hardware in compliance with company standards.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
• Guide users through step-by-step solutions to resolve incidents and technical challenges.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams while maintaining responsibility for follow-up and resolution tracking.
• Provide users with accurate and timely information about IT products, services, and system updates.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with users regarding the status of their requests or issues.
• Deliver on-site support when necessary or requested by clients or internal teams.
• Gather user feedback and suggestions, and relay insights to relevant internal teams for service or process improvement.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance support procedures and contribute to knowledge base documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role is a plus.
• Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
• Familiarity with Windows OS, Office 365, remote support tools, and basic networking concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced IT environment.
