Electrical Leading Hand - Underground 

NSMS currently have an exciting opportunity based at our KCGM Operations for an experienced Underground Leading Hand - Electrician.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for the leadership, supervision, and direction of the underground electrical team.

 

Position Details:

• Job Title: Trades – Leading Hand - Electrical
• Location:  KCGM – Mount Charlotte & Fimiston
• Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
• Roster: 7/7, 12hr Shifts

 

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in the mining industry.
• Proven ability to effectively lead teams in an underground environment.
• Ability to train and pass on knowledge to Electrical personnel.
• Computer literacy - Microsoft Office
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices
• Awareness of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations

 

Qualifications:

• Current "A" Grade Western Australian Electrical Licence
• Current "C" Class Western Australian Driver's Licence
• High Voltage switching ticket (desirable)
• Nationally recognized Working at Heights competency (desirable)
• High Risk Work Licence (desirable)
