Keep things moving behind the scenes.

At Manchester Flightpath, we’re looking for a Key Controller to join our team and play an important role in keeping our airport parking operation running smoothly.

This is a hands-on operational role where organisation, accuracy and communication are key. You’ll be responsible for the secure management of customer vehicle keys, while also helping to coordinate customer collections from Manchester Airport.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be at the heart of the operation, making sure customer keys are safely stored, accurately recorded and available when they’re needed.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and securely storing customer vehicle keys once vehicles have been parked.

  • Accurately recording vehicle and key information on our systems.

  • Completing regular key checks to ensure everything is accounted for ahead of customer departures.

  • Preparing keys and departure information for upcoming customer collections.

  • Coordinating customer collections from Manchester Airport.

  • Communicating with our bus drivers via two-way radio to keep collections running efficiently.

  • Taking customer calls and coordinating requests for collection from the airport terminals.

  • Working closely with colleagues across the operation to resolve any issues and keep things moving.

  • Ensuring customer property is handled securely and responsibly at all times.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and naturally detail-focused. You’ll be comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly, and you’ll understand the importance of getting things right when you’re responsible for customer property.

You’ll also need to be confident communicating with customers and colleagues, both face-to-face and over the telephone and radio.

Previous experience in customer service, transport, parking, logistics or another operational environment would be useful, but we’re just as interested in your attitude, reliability and ability to work as part of a team.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to become an important part of our Manchester Flightpath operation, working in a fast-paced airport environment where no two days are quite the same.

If you’re someone who likes to stay organised, enjoys being part of a busy team and takes pride in providing a reliable service to customers, we’d love to hear from you.

Ready to join the team? Apply now and take your next step with Manchester Flightpath.
