Korean Bilingual Sr. Analyst, Platform & IT Strategy – Business Transformation & Excellence

The Business Transformation & Excellence team is a strategic project management organization that specializes in analyzing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions and systems for business units. Operating in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment, the team sets high expectations and drives results across all divisions within the company.

The Business Transformation and Excellence team is widely regarded as the preferred A-team for Samsung Top Management when seeking experts to tackle complex business challenges, renowned for their ability to spark transformative change and drive business performance through innovative solutions and systems.

As a Sr. Analyst of Platform & IT Strategy, you will serve as a strategic project support member who leads IT expense management, N-IRP (Next IT Resource Planning) processes, and business data analysis to achieve strategic goals and operational excellence. Through close interaction with subject matter experts and senior management, you will develop solutions consistent with our business strategies, own the end-to-end IT expense and Work Order lifecycle — including invoice processing, resource management system (RMS) data integrity, and monthly reporting — while contributing to broader team initiatives such as system implementation, process improvement, and cross-functional project support.

As a team member, you will operate with greater independence, take ownership of end-to-end processes, and flex across multiple areas of the team’s portfolio as business needs shift, consistently searching for ways to enhance leadership's vision through better tools and systems. Given the team's lean structure, this role is expected to go above and beyond assigned responsibility to achieve success.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Expense & Invoice Management

  • Prepare a monthly IT expense status report using internal systems and trackers, presenting trend and fluctuation analysis to team management
  • Validate and submit incoming invoices for the team's allocated IT and project expenses, and present monthly invoice status reports to team management
  • Generate monthly system usage and Voice of Customer (VOC) reports for executive review by analyzing North America system environments and resource allocation to identify cost reduction opportunities

N-IRP (Next IT Resource Planning) & Work Order / RMS Management

  • Manage Work Order and contract data in the internal Resource Management System (RMS), updating fields and aligning with users to track IT and Non-IT outsourcing expenses
  • Maintain the Work Order monthly report by analyzing IT expenses and resource profiles, giving management visibility to plan annual IT and Non-IT outsourcing contracts under N-IRP
  • Facilitate the approval and signature process with business and internal stakeholders, ensuring all contract information is properly preserved in the system

Business & Data Analysis / Reporting

  • Evaluate business needs and conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support project proposals and evaluations
  • Develop processes to efficiently manage, monitor, and track project deliverables, performing data analysis independently or with cross-functional teams
  • Prepare materials in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for presentations within and outside the PI team

Broader PI Project & Stakeholder Support

  • Support company-wide system implementation and process improvement projects by evaluating current workflows and executing improvement strategies
  • Manage relationships and expectations of internal and external stakeholders on assigned projects
  • Provide ad-hoc support across other PI team projects, leveraging seniority to take on responsibilities beyond IT expense and N-IRP ownership alone
  • PI's scope of services to the company is not limited, in its ongoing effort to implement best-in-class systems and processes

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Finance, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Approximately 4-5 years of experience in business management support, IT expense/vendor management, resource or contract management, data analysis/reporting, or project management
  • Experience managing Work Order, RMS, or similar resource/contract management systems strongly preferred
  • Bilingual Required: English/Korean
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and exercises sound judgment while leading multiple projects at once
