We are currently seeking Laboratory Assistant to join our diverse and dynamic team.
Work location: Loyang office-based (30 Loyang way, Unit 02/12-15, Singapore 508769
Working hour: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. / 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday to Friday / Tuesday to Saturday subject to changes based on operational needs
Public holiday rotational shift depends on team roaster.
Public holiday rotational shift will be compensated as per Ministry of Manpower rules and regulations for any Public Holiday duties
The role:
Monitoring samples/Troubleshooting discrepancies.
Consolidating created samples/containers (i.e. slides, blocks, reports, etc.)
Searching and retrieving documents and samples.
Performing data entry/Monitoring e-mails and various correspondences.
Checking that slides/blocks are properly barcoded and labeled.
Assisting the pathologists with the technical/clerical work.
Monitoring reagent/QC/calibrator stocks.
You will need:
You will possess a bachelor’s degree (preferred) or diploma along with 1 year of related experience in a Clinical Laboratory.
You will have basic working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office along with excellent written/verbal communication skills, the ability to handle large work load demands and trouble shoot issues timely when required.
Exhibit appropriate time management skills and attention to detail.
Ability to keep accurate, legible records and recognize the need to handle these records and all other information in line with GCP/GLP/GDP.
