Lab Tech - Lenexa, KS - Full Time

As a Laboratory Technician I at ICON, you will support laboratory operations by performing routine sample processing, maintaining equipment, and ensure compliance with laboratory protocols.


What You Will Do:

You will take responsibility for clinical laboratory operations deliverables, applying your skills to ensure quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine sample processing, including handling, labeling, and storage, in accordance with study protocols.
  • Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhering to quality control guidelines.
  • Recording and managing laboratory data, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Collaborating with laboratory staff and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and sample management.

Your Profile:

You will bring relevant clinical laboratory operations experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Associate's degree or certification in laboratory science or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in a laboratory environment, ideally in clinical trials or healthcare.
  • Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and adherence to protocols.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
