About this role

Job Overview:

Job Summary**

Perform general labor duties supporting renewable energy construction projects, specifically in desert environments, without operating company vehicles. This role involves manual tasks crucial to site preparation, installation, and maintenance.

Job Responsibilities**

* Assist with the setup and tear-down of construction sites, including moving materials, tools, and equipment.
* Dig trenches, holes, and foundations by hand or using hand tools.
* Operate small hand and power tools such as shovels, rakes, picks, hammers, and drills.
* Clean and prepare worksites, remove debris, and maintain a safe working environment.
* Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
* Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., electricians, carpenters, pipefitters) as directed.
* Perform general maintenance on tools and equipment.
* Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Work effectively as part of a team to complete project tasks on schedule.
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Qualifications**

* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions, including extreme heat.
* Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently.
* Willingness to work outdoors in a desert environment for extended periods.
* Basic understanding of construction site safety practices.
* Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
* Prior experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required.
* Must be authorized to work in the United States.
