Role – Landscape Architect
Location – Essex
Salary - £DOE
LEAD Careers are working with a well-established Landscape Architecture studio that is looking to add another Landscape Architect with LVIA experience to its team.
This is a great opportunity for a Landscape Architect who enjoys the landscape planning side of the profession. The practice has been around for more than 40 years and works across both landscape planning and design, with a varied portfolio of projects throughout the UK.
The Role
The successful Landscape Architect will be joining an experienced team and getting involved in a good mix of landscape planning work, including:
- LVIA and LVA
- Townscape and visual assessments
- Landscape character assessment
- Site surveys and fieldwork
- Viewpoint selection and assessment
- Landscape input into EIA projects
- Landscape and visual mitigation strategies
- Planning application support
- Report writing
- Working alongside clients and wider consultant teams
About you
- A Landscape Architecture degree
- Some previous LVIA/LVA experience
- A good understanding of landscape and visual assessment
- An understanding of the UK planning system
- Good report-writing skills
