Job Description:

EDUCATION:

Master's: Graduate of an accredited speech pathology program

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

SP-Licensed Speech Pathologist.

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

5 years recent relevant experience

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Critical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement and ability to work independently.

Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.

Ability to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirement.

Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.

Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities.

Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.

Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement.

Demonstrates advanced knowledge and practice level competencies and is a recognized clinical and workflow subject matter expert.

Demonstrate ability to collaborate with physicians and speech language pathologists across sites to provide best quality care for patients along their continuum of care.

Pay Range is $141,980.80 to $198,764.80 / annual salary

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
