Laundry Attendant

Collect, sort, and separate laundry by type, color, or cleaning method. Operate commercial washing machines and dryers. Inspect laundry for stains or tears. Fold, stack, label, and organize clean linens. Maintain inventory of towels, linens, and laundry supplies. Deliver clean laundry to assigned areas or storage rooms Maintain a clean laundry room and the surrounding areas Clean and sanitize machines, worktables, and floor daily. Follow chemical safety guidelines and PPE requirements Monitor laundry supplies and notify supervisor when inventory is low Report malfunctioning equipment or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor Perform other duties as assigned, as they relate to the position of Laundry Attendant.
