REPORTS TO: Head of On Demand Success

JOB SUMMARY: The Lawyer Engagement Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of

On Demand Success in achieving the team's key results and in guiding Engagement Associates to

meet client's resourcing needs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Manage the On Demand matching and engagement of lawyers

  2. Lawyer utilisation

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key responsibilities of the role will be:

  • building strong relationships with candidates

  • dealing with client requests in accordance with Lawyer Engagement Team processes and SLAs

  • identifying the best candidates for each client’s request and building high-quality, compelling proposals to win those requests

  • providing end-to-end placement support for candidates and clients to ensure all placements are successful

  • supporting the Head of On Demand Success with onboarding of additional team members

  • assisting Head of On Demand Success with project managing large client requests

  • key escalation point in Lawyer Engagement team for resolving client/candidate issues and team queries

  • taking responsibility for specific operational tasks within the Lawyer Engagement team, eg

  • overseeing project check-ins for team, allocating cases on Salesforce and monitoring Salesforce reports/data

  • managing compliance and checks including Practicing Certificates, SRA, s43 and right to work checks

  • leading on strategic projects relating to Lawyer Engagement

  • contributing to the design and implementation of best practice for client services

  • ensuring compliance with regulations, commercial agreements and company policies

  • working alongside Client, Marketing, Technology and Finance teams to ensure a positive experience for our clients and candidates

  • maintaining awareness of the competitive market landscape and industry developments relevant to the Lawyer Engagement team

  • attending networking and other events (virtual and/or in person) and being an ambassador for Flex

  • gathering and providing the team with candidate insights as and when the opportunities arise
