We work across advisory, design, delivery and asset management on projects that shape communities and are recognised for engineering excellence. With a strong and growing Civil Infrastructure portfolio nationally and across South Australia, we are seeking a Lead Land Development Civil Engineer to join our Adelaide team and play a key role in delivering local and interstate projects. 

 

How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next? 

In this senior role, you’ll lead the delivery of land development and civil infrastructure design projects, combining technical excellence with project and client leadership. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, you’ll help shape practical, high‑quality outcomes for a broad range of projects across civil, land and water infrastructure. 

You’ll also play a key role in mentoring engineers within the team and building strong, long‑term client relationships, winning team workload and contributing to the continued growth of Aurecon’s Land Development capability.  Here are the key things you’ll do to bring ideas to life:

What we’re looking for: 

  • Degree in Civil Engineering 
  • Strong experience in land development and/or civil infrastructure design 
  • Demonstrated experience working within the South Australian market (highly desirable) 
  • Strong understanding of: SA Water standards and requirements, local council and authority approvals, proven ability to lead projects and mentor engineers 
  • Experience across the full project lifecycle (design through to construction) 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 

 

Technical capability: 

  • Design experience across roads, drainage, earthworks, utilities and civil infrastructure 
  • Proficiency in design tools such as 12D and/or AutoCAD 
  • Strong understanding of Australian standards and local SA authority requirements
