We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Dental Nurse to join our friendly and professional team at our Hastings practice.
At David Neal Dental, this role offers the perfect balance of leadership responsibility and hands-on nursing. As our Lead Nurse, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest clinical standards while supporting and developing the wider team.
About the Role
As Lead Dental Nurse, you will:
* Take responsibility for infection control protocols and ensure full compliance across the practice
* Support, mentor, and train trainee dental nurses
* Manage stock control and ordering efficiently
* Carry out infection control audits and maintain high clinical standards
* Continue to work chairside, doing what you enjoy most – nursing
No prior experience as a Lead Nurse? No problem. We provide full training and support to help you succeed in the role.
You’ll work alongside a highly skilled team of NHS and Private dentists and hygienists, giving you exposure to a wide range of treatments and opportunities to expand your clinical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional patient care and uphold the practice ethos
* Lead and support the clinical team to maintain high standards
* Ensure compliance with infection control and decontamination procedures
* Contribute to team meetings and help enhance the patient journey
* Adhere to all GDPR and confidentiality regulations
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday: 7:45am – 5:15pm
*Salary:* Competitive and negotiable, depending on experience
*Start Date:* Immediate start available
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £29,835.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Hastings TN34 1QY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
* Dental assisting: 2 years (required)
* Dental Nursing: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Valid GDC registration (required)
