About this role

About the Role

Total Wine & More is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead, Field Leadership Development to elevate frontline leadership capability across our national store network. This role is responsible for designing, facilitating, and continuously improving leadership development programs that prepare high-potential employees for promotion, strengthen the capabilities of current leaders, and build a strong pipeline of future store leadership.


You will

  • Design, develop, and continuously improve leadership development programs that prepare frontline employees and leaders for advancement while strengthening the organization's leadership pipeline.
  • Partner with Store Operations, Human Resources, and business leaders to identify leadership capability gaps and implement learning solutions aligned with business objectives and succession planning strategies.
  • Facilitate engaging instructor-led, virtual, and in-store leadership development programs focused on coaching, performance management, accountability, employee relations, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Build trusted relationships with Regional Vice Presidents, District Managers, Store Managers, and HR Business Partners to influence leadership development initiatives and drive organizational capability across the field.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of leadership development programs through participant feedback, business metrics, and performance outcomes, using data and insights to continuously enhance learning experiences and organizational impact.

You will come with

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Education, Communications, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience designing and facilitating instructor-led leadership development programs for frontline leaders.
  • Experience working in a retail, hospitality, restaurant, or other multi-site operational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence leaders across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States (approximately 40–60%).
  • Approved locations of residence are Dallas, TX or Denver, CO.
