Job Description

Position Overview

As a Senior Analyst, Land Development you will work with the Land Development team to support the development of utility scale wind, solar, storage, and thermal projects throughout the United States. This person will report to the Manager, Land Development. The position is located in Chicago, Illinois.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to take moderate role in curative tracking process including leading developer/land agent calls and meetings, landowner communication, and coordination with legal team

  • Proficient knowledge of legal descriptions and real estate terminology

  • Ability to support senior Land Developer on specific projects

  • Attend all internal project related meetings

  • Ability to coordinate meetings when needed between Land Development and internal Invenergy groups

  • Oversees and leads large-scale documentation mailouts

  • Ability to effectively draft large-scale documentation drafting

  • Ability to effectively communicate with land administration, legal team, land agents, developers, landowners, and other counterparties

  • Continued strengthening of relationship with development and legal teams

  • Key support role in preparing and getting through a project finance and/or sale

  • Will provide administrative support to land development as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field

  • Minimum two years’ work experience

  • Moderate to strong Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. skills

  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently

  • Excellent organizational skills with attentiveness to timelines

  • Proficient in the review of contracts and agreements

  • Proficient in using software platforms such as GIS, VAL, Curative Tracking App, Quorum, SAM, Oracle, and other company applications

  • Proficient knowledge of legal descriptions and real estate terminology

  • Strong working knowledge or experience with estoppel process

Base Pay

$70,000.00 - $82,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 15%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
 
In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are designed to reward individual and company performance. Your recruiter can share more about bonus eligibility for this position during the hiring process.
