·       Strong execution capability, business acumen, agility, and attention to detail.

·       Proven ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders, with strong collaboration skills across GC functions.

·       Fluent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin, with working-level English proficiency.

Preferred Experience

·       Established network with district- and municipal-level government stakeholders in Shanghai.

·       Experience coordinating and supporting executive meetings with local government leaders.

·       Prior experience working in or with government agencies is a strong plus.

What You’ll Work On

As the Lead, Government & Public Affairs – Shanghai, you will help strengthen Nike’s local government engagement, protect business continuity, and enable effective operations in Shanghai.

·       Represent Nike in working-level engagements with government stakeholders, as needed.

·       Maintain and deepen relationships with key counterparts in Yangpu and Jing’an district governments.

·       Identify and help secure applicable government subsidies and policy support.

·       Partner with relevant functions to manage important government inquiries, including those involving customs and tax authorities.

·       Leverage government support to manage and mitigate day-to-day issues, minimizing disruption to Nike Direct business operations, and to support Marketing/Marketplace initiatives.

·       Maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with Legal, Quality Assurance, Business Integrity, Finance/Tax, and Sales teams.
