What you'll do
- Adjusts, repairs, troubleshoots, and maintains heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Performs all preventive maintenance on systems and maintains applicable logbooks.
- Conducts walk-through inspections; changes belts, filters, adjusts volume dampers, checks gauges, coils, drain lines, bleeds gas lines, resets compressors, check unit sensors, relocates ductwork and troubleshoots to locate sources and cause of malfunction.
- Assists with estimating parts, supplies, equipment, and labor hours needed to complete assigned repairs and monitors computer for malfunctions.
- Maintains quality of air, air flow and temperature at on and off-site facilities; adjusts valves to regulate temperature of lubrication oil and flow of water through system.
- Records gauge readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment.
- Maintains technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate.
- Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Job Description:
Under the direction of the Shift Manager, the incumbent adjusts, repairs, troubleshoots, and maintains heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
