  • Work with other critical program functions to establish daily management standards and reporting.
  • Implement changes to engineering and hardware activities and apply schedule logic for program critical path analysis.
  • Work directly with Engineering and Manufacturing Programs focal to execute recurring daily or weekly status of activities and implement status changes.
  • Work directly with Earned Value Management Scheduling team to meet all EVM schedule reporting requirements.
  • Interface with internal customers and leaders to report program status and pressure to plan.
  • Provide advice to program leadership, systems engineering, and manufacturing programs around cross functional scheduling, program dependencies, scheduling constrains, and reporting.
  • Process improvement through GE scheduling tool, Deltek Open Plan. Act as scheduling tool SME to provide unique reports and views.
  • Embrace LEAN concepts to help develop and implement best practices and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Support senior planner around leadership reporting and purchased service planning support.

Job Description Summary

The Lead Integrated Engineering and Manufacturing Planner is responsible for detailed level scheduling of engineering and manufacturing activities, reporting, and analysis, supporting Edison Works programs. In this role, the planner will collaborate with the Integrated Master Scheduling team, Engineering Control Account Managers (CAMs), Manufacturing Programs Hardware Managers and Government Property Managers to support execution of the program. This role will be responsible for building standard work and implementing it across multiple programs with complex milestones. Additionally, you will be required to understand the clients, industry, and government market to support future contract proposals and replans.

You will support the Program Management Office (PMO) in developing and implementing best practices and standard work templates to enhance efficiencies in program execution across all programs. The PMO is an organization that will help support program execution across Edison Works and GE Aviation. The PMO includes functions, such as integrated master scheduling, program execution & fulfillment, and program operations & forecasting.
