What you'll do
- IT Equipment Procurement: Source and purchase IT equipment, including hardware, peripherals, and services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any issues or discrepancies. Collaborate with Supply Chain team to conduct RFI/RFQ and supplier audits.
- Planning and Forecasting: Collaborate with ITAM and other departments to forecast IT equipment needs, ensuring alignment with budget and project timelines.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.

- Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of the IT procurement budget, ensuring cost-efficient purchasing. Collaborate closely with Finance and Accounting to monitor budget adherence and AP schedule.
- Procurement Strategy: Utilize market research and deployment data to develop comprehensive procurement strategies, optimizing spend to secure prime rates.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of procurement coordinators in daily operations, ensuring timely and consistent service to internal stakeholders.
- Policy Development: With ITAM leadership, develop and implement policies, supporting good financial stewardship, fair distribution, and sustainable growth.

ABOUT THE TEAM
We are seeking a skilled Lead, IT Hardware Procurement with 2-4 years of experience in purchasing IT equipment and owning forecasts. This role involves vendor management, strategic planning, and inventory forecasting within IT Asset Management (ITAM).
