About the Role

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced project specific Lead Producer to lead the product delivery for a multi-project initiative that creates cutting-edge 3D visualization workflows supporting marketing and media production for a new urban city.

Key Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Clients & Delivery

  • Oversee Producers across multiple complex projects across a wide range of delivery techniques ensuring that good process is followed and project reporting is accurate and timely
  • Oversee all budgets within your team, focusing on delivering healthy margins and managing scope creep 
  • Ensure that you are guiding your team to develop meaningful client relationships, including through effective communication, project management and meeting delivery and quality objectives  - ensure we achieve their big picture goals as partners rather than service providers, owning these relationships where necessary and acting as an escalation point

Business Development

Production Leadership 

  • Mentors producers and their development within projects and production teams.
  • Maintains consistency over the management of all projects and leads regular reviews alongside ECD ensuring client objectives are met balanced with creative requirements
  • Evaluates the current status of the industry and the market to ensure delivery of relevant and useful products, messages or branding.
  • Anticipates the future direction of the industry using both research and own insight and brings the company into the fore of that trajectory, contributing and leading in project shareouts, industry shareouts and any internal strategy 

HR

  • Line manage senior & mid level Producers, nurturing their career trajectories
  • Leads performance reviews of their direct reports
  • Ensures continued professional development / training of team members 
  • Acts as hiring manager for all Senior Producers within the team, identifies requirements, agrees job descriptions and advertisements and participates in interviews and selection process
  • Participates in the interview and selection process for all junior and mid level Producer hires, overseeing the senior producer as hiring manager 
  • Participates in the interview and selection process for all team members alongside the ECD
  • Serve as a role model and mentor within Squint and externally; participate in knowledge shares, actively improve Squint’s process, deliver thought leadership

Candidate Qualifications & Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of account management experience 
  • Proven success launching large scale campaigns or experiential projects
  • Interest in all aspects of the production cycle
  • A strategic mindset; thinks outside the box
  • Experience in conflict resolution
  • Financial leadership over project budgets
  • Highly attentive to detail

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract - 12 Months 

Location : London

We value regular in-person collaboration because we think it leads to the best creative work however hybrid working is available around project commitments.

We follow pay transparency, meaning we publish a salary range for each role. The salary range is the full earning potential during someone’s time in a role. Salary offers are made within this range and based on your experience and parity with the strength of our existing team/s.

Salary Pay Range
£80,000—£95,000 GBP
