  • Partner with Product and Finance teams to enable effective pricing governance, including approvals, controls, monitoring and post-implementation review, while supporting compliance with Consumer Duty, fair value, responsible lending and internal risk policies.
  • Work closely with the Financial Modelling team to define, challenge and maintain aligned assumptions across pricing and financial models, ensuring consistency in forecasts, scenarios and commercial decision-making.
  • Act as the subject-matter expert for mortgage pricing, continuously identifying opportunities to achieve best-in-class capability, automate decisioning and strengthen portfolio performance through data, experimentation and process improvement.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Product Owner - Mortgage Pricing.

This is a hybrid working role with a base location of Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield, or Chester. You'll join a high-profile team at the forefront of Mortgage Pricing strategy, helping shape customer propositions and drive growth across one of HSBC UK's most important lending portfolios.

This is a key specialist leadership role within our Customer Intelligence team, responsible for shaping, implementing and continuously optimising Mortgage Pricing capabilities across the portfolio. Playing a critical role in delivering lending growth, you will combine deep mortgage market expertise, commercial judgement, and advanced analytics to drive competitive customer propositions, sustainable portfolio performance, and disciplined returns, whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk requirements.

In this role you will:

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
