  • Programme and operate industrial robotic systems to deploy special processes within Repair Engineering.
  • Support the integration of ancillary equipment and components with robotic control systems.
  • Apply technical knowledge and previous experience to execute repair-development strategies and deliver programme objectives.
  • Understand key business drivers and how the work of the team integrates with other functions and contributes to broader organisational objectives.
  • Use technical judgment to evaluate and propose solutions outside established parameters.
  • Apply prior experience and on-the-job learning to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to make informed decisions and achieve technical goals.
  • Provide informal technical guidance and knowledge sharing to new team members.

Job Description Summary

This role is responsible for developing and enhancing repair technologies by integrating customer and operational data and improving product reliability, availability, maintainability, safety and overall performance.
The role supports departmental operations through the planning and execution of repair-development activities. It offers a degree of autonomy while operating within established functional practices and procedures. Technical judgment is required, with guidance available for more complex matters.
