What you'll do
- Drive sourcing and procurement activities on assigned commodities and suppliers to deliver a competitive advantage within the Americas market.
- Manage supplier quotations, negotiate pricing and contractual terms and implement framework agreements with key suppliers, using contract templates in collaboration with Corporate Counsel.
- Issue purchase orders for components and actively support the full lifecycle of multiple orders simultaneously.
- Improve key performance metrics for the Americas region such as on-time delivery, savings against budget, year-over-year deflation, payment terms, cost of failure and product cost-out during the tendering phase.
- Work proactively with the Tendering team to recommend the right suppliers with the most optimal commercial conditions, meet the proposal’s delivery requirement to the customer and manage cost-out negotiations as per customers’ target.
- Coordinate supplier selection, development, and supplier categorization to ensure sourcing optimization, overall supplier performance and build long-term strategic relationships with key suppliers.
- Develop reports, analyze spend and apply sourcing methodologies to identify opportunities for cost-reduction and cash flows improvements.
- Effectively collaborate with global Project and Parts teams and strategic sourcing colleagues to interpret requirements, define, develop, and implement sourcing and procurement strategies to further enhance business performance and outcomes.
- Active management of the procure-to-pay process and invoice resolution with internal and external stake holders.
- Contribute meaningfully to a positive team-oriented culture that promotes Inclusion and Diversity along with a respectful work atmosphere.

Job Description
The Lead Sourcing Analyst/Buyer is responsible for collecting and examining data for execution of Sourcing related activities to support the business operations through running reports, data analysis, and engagement with important stakeholders to ensure business priorities are met. In addition, this role will also be an active Buyer for Projects and Parts as needed. Examples: Supplier/Commodity management, identifying opportunities for new sources of supply and cost-out initiatives.
The ability to collaborate cross-functionally with the Sourcing Team and with internal stakeholders, including Senior Leadership, is essential. This individual will be responsible for Key Performance Indicators that drive and define Sourcing success and must have the necessary skill set to positively impact these metrics. The Lead Sourcing Analyst/Buyer must be able to define and report strategies for various commodities and Suppliers while having a Lean mindset with a focus on process improvement. This role will be responsible for new supplier on boarding and qualification and will contribute to sourcing savings goals and finance targets.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $94,600.00 and $157,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
