What you'll do
- Learn and eventually teach Lean, driving problem solving and continuous improvement throughout the site
- Work incorporating aspects of daily management, short-term problem solving, and long-term projects and kaizen events tied to the Madison Transformation Plan
- Develop processes to support Safety and Efficiency of Anesthesia Production Line
- Transform the production and flow of test assembly stations
- Incorporate the Heartbeat Business System
- Support improvement opportunities including operation work sequence, operation work content, work-in-process inventory, material handling, problem solving, training, and daily management
- Learn and teach others Lean tools such as 5S, Visual Management, Setup Reduction, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, and Error-Proofing

Job Description Summary
The Lean Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering Co-Op in Madison will have the opportunity to learn and eventually teach Lean, driving problem solving and continuous improvement throughout the site. Work will incorporate aspects of daily management, short-term problem solving, and long-term projects and kaizen events tied to the Madison Transformation Plan.
