  • Review, check and collate documents, ensuring accuracy and a consistent standard of presentation
  • Take responsibility for matter management tasks, including creating and maintaining internal trackers
  • Support ad hoc data analysis using information provided by clients
  • Assist with client service activities such as reporting, knowledge management and billing trackers
  • Help coordinate international and multi jurisdiction advice
  • Prepare migrant and sponsor licence packs
  • Assisting fee earners with preparation of visa and immigration applications, including drafting application forms
  • Provide office administration and diary management support, working closely with the Partner

This is an opportunity to join CMS as a Legal Assistant based in our Glasgow office with our Immigration Team. The role supports a Partner and wider team through a mix of client service management, administrative support and, for the right candidate, broader paralegal type work. You will play an important part in helping the team deliver accurate, well organised and timely work for clients

About you

A degree in a law  or management related subject, or previous paralegal experience, in immigration law, would be an advantage but is not essential.
