THE MISSION

Act as a key partner to the business, providing day-to-day legal support and guidance across all departments of the business. 

Reporting to the Regional Legal Director ITSEE (Italy and South Eastern Europe), you will support the team in managing legal matters with a primary focus on Italy, while collaborating on regional initiatives and cross-country projects. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of compliance, privacy and commercial excellence across our operations.

 

THE JOURNEY

• Compliance, 231 & Regulatory Framework: Act as a subject matter expert for the Italian legal entity. You will manage the whistleblowing channel, coordinate internal investigations and audits and serve as a reference point for compliance initiatives. You will lead the maintenance of the Legislative Decree 231/2001 Model, liaising with the Supervisory Body. Furthermore, you will monitor and interpret the evolving regulatory landscape, assessing the impact of new legislation on business operations and proactively advising on necessary adjustments to ensure full local and sector-specific compliance.

• Privacy & Data Protection: Contribute to privacy initiatives, ensuring strict adherence to GDPR and local data protection regulations in managing information.

• Engagement with Local Authorities: Support the business in managing relationships with local authorities by providing assistance in responding to information requests and coordinating institutional collaborations.

• Commercial & Consumer Support: Provide hands-on support in commercial law, including the drafting, negotiation, and revision of commercial agreements. Manage consumer law matters to ensure alignment with local and european standards and regulations.

• Regional Reporting & Projects: Support the Regional Legal Director ITSEE by managing cross-country reporting workflows. You will take the lead on the execution and coordination of cross-country legal projects, ensuring the consistent implementation of group policies and best practices across the region, fostering synergy between the local and international teams.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• Experience: at least 6 years of experience in the legal field, with a balanced and mandatory background combining time spent in top-tier law firms and in-house corporate environments.

• Expertise: deep knowledge of compliance frameworks (specifically 231/2001, whistleblowing and regulatory monitoring), privacy regulations and experience in commercial/consumer law.

• Languages: mandatory Native Italian speaker; Advanced English (professional proficiency in speaking and drafting is mandatory).

• Collaboration: proven ability to handle cross-country reporting and coordinate cross-country legal projects with regional stakeholders. Strong ability to support the team, manage stakeholders, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

• Mindset & Soft Skills: you thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments, balancing strategic vision with meticulous attention to legal compliance. You approach challenges with resilience, curiosity, and an empathetic, inclusive attitude. 

• Litigation: (Nice to have) Experience in supporting or managing litigation cases.
