What you'll do
- transport freight between Southeastern’s Service Center or designated points in-between
- Operate a tractor-trailer combination (single or double) in urban, suburban, and rural areas and in all types of weather conditions
- Receive and verify dispatch instructions and verify load against shipping documents
- When hauling hazardous material, verify the hazardous material product description, determine any discrepancies in the paperwork, and verify proper placarding
- Perform all duties in a manner that promotes superior customer service and professionalism
