ABOUT THE ROLE:

Join Outback Spirit Tours as one of two Lodge Asset & Maintenance Coordinators and play a vital role in supporting the maintenance and operation of our iconic remote lodges. Working closely with and under the direction of the Lodge Asset & Maintenance Manager, you will provide administrative and coordination support across maintenance activities, contractor scheduling, asset records, freight logistics and purchasing processes, helping to keep our properties safe, efficient and guest-ready.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinating preventative and reactive maintenance activities
- Support the manager in managing maintenance records, asset registers and system updates
- Organising parts, equipment and freight to remote lodge locations
- Liaising with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Supporting procurement, purchase orders and receipting processes
- Assisting with maintenance projects and capital works
- Support the manager to drive continuous improvement in systems, processes and workflows
ABOUT YOU:
This role would suit someone with administration experience who enjoys organising information, coordinating tasks, and supporting a busy team. You are highly organised, detail-oriented and confident managing multiple priorities, with a strong focus on accuracy and follow-through. You'll enjoy building positive working relationships, keeping systems and records up to date, and providing administrative and coordination support to help maintenance operations run smoothly across our remote lodge network.
YOU WILL BRING:
- Previous administration experience, ideally in operations, maintenance, facilities, logistics or a similar environment
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
- Sound Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a busy environment
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills and confidence building positive working relationships
- Experience maintaining records, schedules, databases or administrative systems
- Experience with maintenance management systems (such as MEX) would be advantageous but not essential
- Exposure to maintenance, facilities or asset administration would be highly regarded
- Forklift or High Risk Licence would be advantageous but not essential
A National Criminal History Check is also required as part of the recruitment process.
