Job Summary
The Logistics Analyst is responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring efficient inventory
control, supplier coordination, shipment execution, and cost optimization. The role requires hands-on
experience in warehouse operations, SAP MM module, and compliance with documentation standards
including E-way bill processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management & Governance
 Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure optimum stock availability.
 Perform regular cycle counts and physical verification.
 Implement inventory governance practices to minimize losses, obsolescence, and discrepancies.
2. Supplier Coordination
 Liaise with suppliers for timely material dispatch and issue resoluƟon.
 Track inbound deliveries and ensure adherence to schedules.
 Manage supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
3. SAP MM Module Operations
 Perform daily transactions in SAP MM (Material Management).
 Manage purchase orders, goods receipts, stock transfers, and inventory records.
 Ensure data accuracy and maintain proper documentation within SAP systems.
4. Shipment & Logistics Process
 Plan and coordinate dispatches for outbound shipments.
 Ensure proper documentaƟon for shipments including invoices, delivery challans, and E-way bills.
5. Warehouse Operations
 Oversee warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
 Ensure adherence to FIFO, FEFO, and other warehouse best practices.
 Maintain warehouse layout efficiency and storage optimization.
6. Line Feeding Activities
 Ensure timely material availability to production lines.
 Coordinate with production teams for uninterrupted operations.
 Monitor line-side inventory and reduce downtime due to material shortages.7. CFT (Cross-Functional Team) Coordination)
 Work closely with Procurement, Production, Finance, and Quality teams.
 Facilitate smooth communication between departments to ensure operaƟonal efficiency.
 Support cross-functional projects and process improvements.
8. Continuous Improvement & Reporting
 Prepare logistics performance reports and KPIs.
 Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions.
 Drive automation and digitalization initiatives in logistics operations.
Key Skills & Competencies
 Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations
 Hands-on experience in SAP MM module
 Understanding of logistics, transportation, and shipment processes
 Proficiency in E-way bill generation and compliance
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 Excellent coordination and communication abilities
 Experience in cost optimization and process improvement
Educational Qualification
Diploma / bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field
in Logistics or Supply Chain (preferred)
Preferred Experience
Experience in manufacturing/automotive/industrial logistics environment
Exposure to line feeding / production support logistics
Prior experience in handling warehouse teams and operations
