What you'll do
- Maintains the highest level code of conduct and ethics.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to help drive continuous improvement that maximizes the value of Zurn Elkay’s transportation management system (TMS)
- Track and report on fuel and market data trends using tools such as DAT, EIA, and JOC, providing insights and expectations for various market segments.
- Maintain and update carrier contact master records, consolidating and refreshing outdated records to ensure a single, reliable source of data.
- Develop and implement a standard operating procedure (SOP) and template for tracking prospective carriers
- Manage the Certificate of Insurance (COI) process for carriers, including updates in DAT, validation of dates, and establishment of a monitoring process to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Ad-hoc projects as defined.

Job Description
The Logistics Intern, reporting to the Logistics Manager of Domestic Transportation, will play a key role in analyzing data, optimizing transportation network , and supporting our transportation systems to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, identify data-driven insights, and reinforce strategies to improve overall logistics cost and supply chain performance.
This internship will be located in our Milwaukee, WI Headquarters.

Qualifications/Requirements
