Purpose: Provides logistical support and research on all maintenance related issues. Administrator for Signal operational reporting groups.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans, coordinates, conducts, leads, and participates in briefings, problem solving meetings, and Brigade level discussions.
- Produces maintenance reports based on data compiled, tabulated, and computed, following prescribed formats.
- Maintains files of documents used and prepared, compiling detailed Power Point slants and Excel spreadsheets.
- Performs maintenance scheduling to include production schedules for scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance.
- Prepares, develops and coordinating reports for the Operations Manager or assigned Logistics Management Analyst to meet all program objectives.
- Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across site functional groups including finance, material, and quality.
- Utilizes reports, charts and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
- Ensures strict compliance to safety practices and support the Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Instills a safety-first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.
- Adheres to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of Quality Management System.
- Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- 6 yrs. planning experience to include briefing senior leadership required.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must have high-level experience using Microsoft suite; Power Point and Excel to illustrate/develop Maintenance / Supply reports.
- Must be comfortable with public speaking and giving presentations to small and large groups.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous planning experience in Supply, Maintenance, or Logistics, preferred
- International driver’s license prior to deployment preferred.
Certification, License & Clearance:
- Valid US Driver’s license required.
- US Citizenship required.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a CAC, if required.
Facility credentials/authorization required:
Must be able to obtain and maintain facility and credential /authorization:
Note- US Citizenship is required for facility credential/authorization at this work location.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
- Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
- Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
- When performing work, responsible for adhering to environmental, safety, and health standards related to the activity, including the wearing of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
