The opportunity

Join the Business Strategy & Transformation team and contribute to concrete internal transformation initiatives. With guidance from experienced team members, you will support research, project coordination, process analysis and the preparation of clear, high-quality deliverables.

As an intern, you will be fully integrated into the team and work alongside colleagues on ongoing assignments. Your responsibilities will be adapted to your experience and learning objectives. You will receive regular guidance and feedback while progressively taking ownership of defined tasks and deliverables. You will learn:

• How strategic and operational transformation initiatives are structured and delivered within an organization.
• Practical PMO methods, project governance and stakeholder coordination.
• Business process mapping, analysis and continuous improvement techniques.
• How to turn complex information into concise, decision-ready presentations and reports.
• Responsible and effective use of AI tools in a professional environment.

 

Your key responsibilities

Business analysis and transformation support

• Conduct desk research, benchmarking and market studies to support the team’s analyses.
• Collect, structure and synthesise information from different sources.
• Help prepare problem statements, options, recommendations, business cases and transformation roadmaps.
• Support interviews, workshops and working sessions, including preparation, note-taking and synthesis of outcomes.

PMO and project coordination

• Help maintain project plans, action trackers, RAID logs and status dashboards.
• Follow up on agreed actions, deadlines and dependencies with support from the project team.
• Contribute to the preparation of project meetings, steering committee materials and management updates.
• Document decisions, meeting outcomes and next steps in a clear and structured manner.

Process improvement

• Support the mapping and documentation of existing and target processes (AS-IS and TO-BE).
• Help identify pain points, root causes and opportunities for simplification, standardisation or automation.
• Contribute to the definition of process indicators, roles, controls and improvement actions.
• Prepare clear process documentation and visual materials for internal stakeholders.

Digital and AI-enabled ways of working

• Use generative AI and digital tools to support research, synthesis, documentation and presentation preparation.
• Explore practical ideas to improve team efficiency through templates, automation and AI-assisted workflows.
• Critically review outputs, verify information and apply sound judgement before using AI-generated content.
• Respect applicable confidentiality, data protection and information-security requirements.

 

Skills & attributes for success

• Currently completing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, management, economics, engineering, information systems or a related field.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills, with an interest in strategy, transformation, project management or process improvement.
• Ability to structure information, pay attention to detail and communicate clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Familiarity with AI tools is an advantage.
• Proactive, curious and collaborative mindset, with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Fluency in French and English. Luxembourgish or German would be an advantage.
