The opportunity

EY Luxembourg's Technology Consulting practice supports leading asset managers, alternative investment firms, private equity funds, real estate funds, infrastructure managers, and institutional investors in the design, implementation, and optimization of investment management technology platforms.

As a Technology Consultant, you will help clients transform their front-to-back investment operating models by leveraging industry-leading solutions such as BlackRock Aladdin, Amundi Alto, SimCorp, eFront, and other Wealth & Asset Management platforms. You will act as a trusted advisor, combining business process expertise with technology knowledge to support platform implementations, operating model transformations, and digital innovation initiatives.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead workshops with clients to understand business requirements and define target operating models.
• Act as a subject matter expert on Wealth & Asset Management platforms, including solutions such as Aladdin, Alto, and other investment management technologies.
• Analyze clients' investment structures, business processes, and report requirements across the investment lifecycle.

• Conduct gap assessments between client requirements and platform capabilities.
• Design and document functional solutions and business requirements.
• Support configuration, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live activities.
• Assist clients with data migration, data quality, and reconciliation processes.
• Work closely with project managers and technical teams to deliver complex transformation programs.
• Develop trusted relationships with client stakeholders and provide ongoing advisory support.

• Contribute to business development activities, proposals, thought leadership, and market offerings within EY's Wealth & Asset Management practice.
• Collaborate across EY teams to share knowledge, methodologies, and industry insights.

 

Skills and attributes for success

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in technology consulting, business analysis, system implementation, or transformation projects within Asset Management, Private Markets, or Financial Services.
• Proven experience delivering transformation programs involving platforms such as Aladdin, Alto, eFront, SS&C, Neoxam, or similar solutions.
• Strong understanding of Wealth & Asset Management operating models and investment processes.

• Experience gathering business requirements, conducting process assessments, and facilitating workshops.
• Exposure to platform implementation projects, software configuration, testing, and change management activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multicultural and international teams.
• CFA, CAIA, FRM, or other relevant industry certifications would be considered an asset.
• Willingness to travel as required.
