Machine Operator Evenings

Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Machine Operator - Evenings at our New Hope, MN pasta production facility. We are offering a salary of $26.48 per hour with additional $0.50 per hour for the 2nd Shift (Evenings 3p-11p).  

Responsibilities: 

• Operate packaging equipment and tote stations according to product specifications, ensuring accurate weights, coding, and product quality. 

• Adjust, troubleshoot, clean, inspect, and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to support efficient operation. 

• Complete and maintain accurate machine logs, downtime records, repair documentation, and work order requests as required. 

• Follow all health, safety, and fire prevention procedures and perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

• Able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed  

• Able to respond to alarms and resolve problems in a timely manner  

• Able to work well with teammates and communicate with all employees with respect and courtesy 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution  

• Experience operating machines   

• Experience in a food manufacturing facility 

Physical Requirements: 

Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following, with or without reasonable accommodation: 

• Balance, stand, walk, perform simple grasping, and work in high heat/humidity for 12+ hours per shift  

• Lift up to 34 pounds for 12+ hours per shift, and up to 50 pounds for 10+ hours per shift  

• Bend, crouch, stoop, push, pull, perform fine manipulation, feel, and work in a dusty environment for 10+ hours per shift  

• Kneel, sit, reach above shoulders, and climb/work off ladder for 6+ hours per shift  

• Make fine distinctions in sound, distinguish objects and equipment visually, and express or exchange ideas by spoken or written word
