Job Overview

Saronic is looking for a Machine Shop Helper to support our machinists and fabrication team as we build the autonomous surface vessels defending America's interests at sea. In this role, you'll keep the shop running by prepping raw materials, staging tooling and fixtures, deburring and cleaning finished parts, operating basic equipment (band saws, drill presses, grinders), and keeping work areas organized and safe.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately reading tape measures, gauges, and other test equipment

  • Stack finished product in accordance with factory specifications

  • Assist with loading and unloading of machines

  • Securing raw materials
