Job Description Summary

The 3-year program provides multiple rotations through the factory to learn machining, assembly, Lean fundamentals, inspection, CAD applications, as well as on-machine and CNC Programming.

Job Description

GE Vernova Greenville Gas Turbine Machinist Apprentice Program combines both academic studies and on-the-job training to develop the fundamentals required to become a skilled machinist with GE Power.

Program Summary

  • Specialized 3-year program combining on-the-job training with coursework through local community college

  • Apprentices paid for on-the-job training

  • Tuition, fees and books paid by GE Vernova (via Tuition Reimbursement)*

  • Mentoring, teamwork, ongoing reviews

  • Earn a 2-year Machine Tool Technology Associates Degree

  • Training in basic measurements, safety, print reading, NX CAD/CAM and many other manufacturing processes

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the base pay for this position is will be 27.78/hr.
