belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.What You’ll Do:Carry out planned maintenance across building, mechanical and electrical systems in line with regulations and manufacturer guidelinesSupport Engineering Management to meet contractual response times and produce required reportsAssist with annual statutory maintenance programmes, including shutdown worksReview and validate test results, ensuring compliance with current guidance and Authorising Engineer (AE) recommendationsEnsure safe operation, maintenance and repair of all plant and equipment across the hospital siteDeliver both planned and reactive maintenance services, including out-of-hours supportMaintain compliance with contractual, legislative, statutory and HTM requirements, supporting Health & Safety standardsCollaborate with internal teams and stakeholders, including helpdesk and clinical staff, ensuring effective communication and timely completion of workComply with all health and safety, hygiene, and statutory regulations, including COSHH and fire safety.Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment for patients, visitors, and staff.What You Bring:Demonstrated interest in the engineering industry with a proactive, can-do attitudeConfident and capable in assessing situations and making sound decisionsSelf-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage changing priorities effectivelyStrong problem-solving skills with a logical and practical approachCalm and effective under pressure, with a clear understanding of urgencyGood knowledge of Health & Safety principles and safe working practicesStrong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and basic mathsIT literate, willing to undertake training, and open to overtime when requiredExperience in a maintenance/engineering environment, ideally within healthcare, with additional specialist knowledge where applicableExcellent time management, teamwork, and communicationA positive, initiative-taking approach—able to work independently or as part of a team.You must hold a Current UK Driving Licence to be considered for this role.What we offer:Working at Sodexo isn’t just a job — it’s a chance to
