What you'll do
- Assists on any issue that could arise on the shop floor including breakdowns, new process development, continuous improvement, tooling changes, etc. Includes issues related to hydraulics, pneumatics, programming, electrical, etc
- Troubleshoot controls issues utilizing computers and supplier software
- Identify and implement projects to will improve processes, training, operations, etc
- Maintain and update drawings when changes are made to equipment or programming
- Assist in the development of our maintenance team members
- Must be responsible for observing all safety rules and regulations. Must work safely and always be responsible for the safety of others around you

Tarkett has a great opportunity for a Maintenance Controls Technician in our Middlefield, Ohio Manufacturing Plant.
Tarkett is seeking an experienced and strategic Maintenance Controls Technician to join our successful team in Middlefield, Ohio. In this position you will be seen as a key technical resource for supporting our rubber flooring operations by troubleshooting with the team on mechanical, electrical, controls, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. This position requires a hands on approach that helps with problem solving, training and teaching Maintenance personnel and apprentices.
