Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer job available at an educational institution based near Bank, London. Salary up to £34k + benefits - M-F rotating shifts, 6am-2.30pm, 7am-3.30pm & 11am-7.30pm JOB DUTIES The Maintenance Engineer job will involve Preventative maintenance & reactive maintenance of plant & equipment. The Maintenance Engineer will carry out general maintenance including minor plumbing, appliance repairs, painting & decorating, basic carpentry & electrics. Resolve & log all maintenance issues for building fabric, mechanical & electrical plant. The Maintenance Engineer will diagnose faults, carrying or assisting with any necessary repair work. JOB REQUIREMENTS Preferred candidates for the Maintenance Engineer job will have trade qualifications in either carpentry, plumbing or electrical. The candidate will have previous experience working in a similar job role, someone who has worked as a Maintenance Electrician, Maintenance Plumber, Maintenance Technician, Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer or Facilities Technician would be suitable for the Maintenance Engineer job role.
