What you'll do
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance and repair of all onsite automated equipment.
- Carry out planned repairs and reactive repairs of automated material handling equipment.
- Fault-finding and diagnosis of mechanical and/or electrical faults.
- Respond to automation faults and breakdowns promptly ensuring minimal downtime.
- Prioritise system faults and optimise uptime and availability of onsite automated equipment.
- Complete all reports in line with requirements using CMMS and Microsoft software packages.
- Participate in the delivery, installation, commissioning and testing of upgrades and enhancements.
- Ensure optimum levels of onsite spare parts are maintained.
- Support site meetings as required.
- Mentor, train and advise junior members of the team.

Zed Rail Limited are working with a leading PLC business who are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their facility near Mansfield.
Salary: £52,500
Shifts: 4 on 4 off shift pattern (rotation of days/nights)
Reporting to the Engineering Shift Manager, the Maintenance Engineer will provide site-based engineering support to minimise downtime and ensure uptime, and availability of the installed automated equipment on site.
Duties of the Maintenance Engineer will include:

Carry out planned repairs and reactive repairs of automated material handling equipment.
