The Role

We’re looking for a Maintenance Fitter who enjoys problem‑solving, working closely with others, and taking pride in delivering reliable outcomes.

In this hands‑on role, you’ll partner with site teams to enhance equipment reliability, improve performance, and support safe, efficient operations across the Crestmead site.

Our Crestmead dairy site near Logan, south of Brisbane, manufactures and distributes a range of milk and milk-based products, made with fresh milk sourced direct from 35 dairy farms in the south-east Queensland region. Producing around 100 million litres of product per year!

The successful candidates will be available to work weekly rotating shifts, Monday to Saturday, across day, afternoon, and night shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance, helping keep equipment safe, reliable, and running smoothly

About you

  • Cert III in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade qualification (essential)

  • Experience in FMCG or manufacturing, ideally with processing or packaging equipment

  • Strong problem‑solving capability, with a practical approach to identifying root causes and improving performance

  • Understanding of asset care and maintenance systems, with a focus on reliability and consistency

  • A collaborative, team‑focused approach, with clear communication and the ability to build positive working relationships
