Maintenance Operative

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Operative to join a repairs and maintenance team covering the Newark and Lincoln areas. This role involves working on both void and occupied domestic properties. We’re looking for a Maintenance Operative with a core trade in either Plumbing or Joinery. You will be covering responsive repairs and this is a stable, full-time role ideal for someone with social housing or council experience. Duties Include:   Carrying out responsive maintenance and repair work in both occupied and void domestic properties. Completing a variety of planned and reactive repairs to a high standard. Undertaking general maintenance tasks alongside your core trade of Plumbing or Joinery. Diagnosing faults and identifying the most effective repair solutions. Installing, repairing and replacing domestic fixtures and fittings. Completing repairs such as doors, locks, skirting, kitchens, pipework, taps, toilets, sinks and other household components (depending on trade). This is a fantastic opportunity to secure sociable, full-time hours Monday to Friday. The hourly pay rate for this role is £18.20 Ltd (PAYE equivalent £15.62 inclusive of holiday). You will be working a standard 37-hour week, with potential for overtime. An immediate start is available.
