Job Description:

This role is responsible for improving workforce productivity by anticipating and eliminating any potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts and materials, and access to equipment.

What You'll Do

• Partner with Maintenance, Operations, and contractors to develop, execute, and track preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans
• Review and approve work requests, recommend schedules, and maintain an accurate work backlog
• Plan and prepare maintenance work by coordinating schedules, resources, parts, costs, labor estimates, permits, and job packages
• Prioritize maintenance activities based on equipment criticality to ensure reliable operations and production targets are met
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the CMMS, maintain accurate system data, and generate reports as needed
• Identify and mitigate safety risks, promote best practices, and communicate performance improvement opportunities
• Analyze equipment condition and reliability data to optimize maintenance and repair strategies
• Provide timely, accurate information and insights to support effective decision-making
• Partner with Maintenance, Operations and contractors to develop, execute and track all facility preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance plans and schedules
• Review and approve work requests, make scheduling recommendations and maintain an accurate backlog
• Determine sequence of work, schedule prep-work, understand equipment and parts availability, estimate total cost and hours, prepare AR’s/Bill of Materials, arrange for parts to be kitted and assemble final job package, applicable safety programs and permits
• Use an understanding of equipment criticality to assist in prioritizing work execution plans and ensure vital equipment and facilities are properly maintained and in good condition to meet production targets
• Maintain and provide system expertise for our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensure information is up-to-date, and generate reports as needed
• Proactively identify and eliminate safety issues and areas of potential risk/exposure, support best practices in all efforts and communicate opportunities from Key Performance Indicators
• Collect equipment and machinery conditions and reliability data to identify patterns and anomalies and optimize preventative maintenance and repair plans, adjusting as necessary
• Ensure that meaningful, accurate information is provided in a timely manner that enable people to make sound decisions

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience in Building and Repair Maintenance or other related experience
• Project coordination experience
• Skilled in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), exterior maintenance, general maintenance, Building Automation Systems, computer controls, electrical trades, food production, plumbing, ammonia, and RHVAC

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a maintenance mechanic
• Experience using EAM computer system
• Experience with implementing preventative maintenance programs
• Vocational/technical education in a related field
