What you'll do

  • Troubleshoots and repairs equipment in a timely, complete, and cost-effective manner.
  • Perform duties to maintain production machines and other facility equipment.
  • Check and inspect assigned equipment during preventative maintenance. Reports findings to management.
  • Complete work orders and update maintenance tracking system.
  • Identifies and recommends corrections on electrical issues through knowledge of drives and PLCs.
  • Ensure machine productivity and quality after repairs, changeovers, and extended down time.
  • Maintains inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
  • Respond quickly to issues or concerns that may put employees at risk for injury, to include rectifying immediate dangers.
  • Maintain building safety and appearance including utilities, ventilation, housekeeping and plumbing.
  • Communicate existing and potential issues with group leaders/maintenance manager.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Job Description

Benefits:

Salary:

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $21.45 - $28.40 hourly and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.

Shift:

Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 1:30am + $0.75 shift differential pay (training will be on 1st shift)

Summary

The primary purpose of the Maintenance Technician is to ensure production and operations are running safely at the most efficient level achievable, producing the highest possible production quality.  Complies with applicable regulations and the department’s safety program.
