What you'll do

  • Ensure the continued running of the Weavergate facility for all process mechanical & electrical equipment through a hands-on approach.
  • The safe removal, overhauling and installation of process equipment i.e. Pumps and filling equipment.
  • Support EC&I & Electrical Technicians in engineering and maintenance activities.
  • Develop maintenance procedures and other Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental documentation as necessary.
  • Working safely on site and adhering to health and safety procedures for maintenance work. Permit; Hot Works, LOTO, Confined Space ect.
  • Work with Process Engineer, Plant Electrical Engineer & other production staff on troubleshooting and improvement projects.
  • Ensure all maintenance (internal & contractors) work is carried out correctly, safely and recorded as per the procedures.
  • Maintain site 5s standards and be involved with TPM based projects
  • Follow Ecolab safety guidelines and incident reporting requirements

  • Experience of fabrication and installation to support equipment and pipelines
  • Experience of Liquid transfer systems, maintaining and installing.
  • Experience of working to a preventative maintenance schedule
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and pneumatic drawings
  • Ability to write clear effective reports and procedures
  • Ability to follow complex work instructions and document completed work accurately
  • Willingness to learn about software control systems (SCADA)
  • Willingness to assist and lean about EC&I activities
