Company Description

JYSK is a rapidly growing international retail organization with more than 3,000 stores across 50 countries. To support this growth from a logistics perspective, we are currently building our 10th Distribution Centre in Lelystad. Construction is well underway, and we expect the Distribution Centre to become operational in early 2027. Of course, that does not mean we are standing still until then. From our temporary Distribution Centre, we are already working hard to ensure a smooth transition to the new location.

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of the automated High Bay warehouse within our Distribution Centre. You will work closely with the Technical Department, other departments within the DC, and colleagues from other JYSK Distribution Centres.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the construction, implementation, management, and maintenance of the automated High Bay system;
  • Ensuring the continuity and availability of automation installations;
  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance;
  • Troubleshooting malfunctions and structural automation issues;
  • Identifying and implementing improvements and cost optimization opportunities;
  • Contributing ideas and implementing new solutions to optimize processes;
  • Carrying out ad hoc tasks when required.

In addition, you will always work in accordance with applicable Health & Safety and fire safety procedures and actively contribute to a safe working environment.
