What you'll do
- Maintain conditions of operating equipment, including repair or replacement of failed components.
- Troubleshoot unknown issues with equipment and make adjustments to centerline operational output.
- Perform mechanical and electrical P.M.s on various manufacturing and packaging equipment and electrical panels.
- Document WO’s/PM using a computerized maintenance management system.
- Troubleshoot and repair routine electrical and mechanical problems on assigned equipment.
- Support Operations in equipment setup and changeover.
- Participate in MSE teams, train operators in AM activities, and conduct Breakdown Analysis.
- Own PM systems for the Line, focusing on Maintenance Planning and Scheduling and Breakdown Elimination DMS’s.
- Drive results in Planned and Unplanned Downtime, including maintain & repair costs, PM compliance, and breakdown reduction.
- Act as technical expert of related equipment to discuss, coach, and train technicians and operators.
- Owns Anomaly Handling DMS.
- Make business decisions based on quantitative and qualitative data analysis.

- Technical degree/trade certification or 2 years or equivalent manufacturing technician experience required.
- Possess a fundamental understanding of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings in order to solve problems in a timely manner.
- Ability to troubleshoot ac/dc electrical components including motor starters, switches and sensors found on all assigned equipment using basic test equipment such as multi-meters and amp probes.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic pneumatic and mechanical drive systems at the component level on all assigned equipment; i.e. sorting systems and palletizing robots.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to support production needs and to conduct multi-task work in a very fast paced work environment
- Willingness to develop required technical skills in welding, basic machinist and fabrication/layout skill sets.

- Associate's degree in a technical discipline, preferably in Industrial Maintenance/Technology.
- Possess an advanced understanding of ac/dc electrical (up to 480 volt 3 phase), hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings in order to solve problems in a timely manner.

Job Description:

Education & Professional Qualification
Minimum:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
Associate's degree in a technical discipline, preferably in Industrial Maintenance/Technology.
Knowledge/Experience
Technical degree/trade certification or 2 years or equivalent manufacturing technician experience required.
Successful completion of Mars Apprenticeship Program or Co-op.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
