What you'll do
- Provides financial leadership, management accounting expertise, and trusted business partnering support across Council activities.
- Ensure sound financial decision-making through robust reporting, budgeting, forecasting, project accounting, and financial analysis.
- Supporting Annual Plans, Long-Term Plans, Annual Reports and external audits.
- Working alongside managers to provide practical financial advice and insights.
- Contributing to strong financial governance, internal controls and compliance across Council.
- Financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end and year-end processes.

- Minimum five years' accounting experience in management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This pivotal role provides financial leadership, management accounting expertise, and trusted business partnering support across Council activities. Working closely with managers and senior leaders, you will help ensure sound financial decision-making through robust reporting, budgeting, forecasting, project accounting, and financial analysis.
