Management Accountant

With a long trading history and operations across the UK, this is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation that can offer stability, responsibility and opportunities for continued development.Working as part of a wider finance function, you will take responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts while providing insightful analysis and commentary to senior management, directors and operational teams.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing the Group's monthly management accountsProviding insightful financial analysis to senior leadership and operational teamsReconciling key balance sheet nominal accounts each monthPreparing and submitting VAT returns for relevant operating companiesSupporting the year-end audit process and providing information to auditorsAssisting senior management with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requiredThe successful candidate will have previous experience in management accounting, financial analysis, budgeting and management information reporting, together with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
