JOB LOCATION - Commonwealth Health Physician Network (Edwardsville)

JOB SHIFT- Full Time

Position Purpose

The Admissions Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Satellite Registration functions pertaining to outpatient Admissions. Provides training, support and feedback to appropriate staff and satellites as needed.

Position Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma required, Associate Degree or Certification of Specialization desirable.

Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes

• Data processing experience, beneficial; medical terminology recommended; one (1) to two (2) years supervised training or study required.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Admissions, Emergency Services or other related hospital position preferred.
• Continuing education in insurance types, changes, rules and regulations, and supervision recommended.
• Should process managerial and communication skills; numerical ability; clerical accuracy; teaching/instructional skills, independent thinking/sound judgement, planning and coordinating. Independent thinking/sound judgement, planning and coordination; public relations aptitude; tying.
